Windows 10: Deactivate the new Start menu via external programs

Windows 10 does not offer the option of deactivating the Start menu via the view or system settings. You must use external programs for this.

  • Depending on which start menu you prefer, different programs are available to you. Open Shell is one of the most popular, as it gives you the start menu of Windows 7 and other variants.
  • This is the successor to Classic Shell, which also brings back the Vista start menu in addition to Windows 7. This is just a small selection of programs that are suitable for it.
