How to delete your Microsoft account
When in doubt, a Microsoft account is not only connected to your mails, but also to numerous other services such as Xbox and Skype. If you no longer want to use all this, there is nothing to stop you deleting it.
- Open the following Microsoft website and log in to your account if necessary.
- Click on “Next” and activate all the options displayed. This confirms that you are losing access to all of this data.
- Then select any reason for closure and click on the button “Mark as account to be closed”.
- You will now be logged out and your account and all associated data will be prepared for deletion
- You now have 60 days to reactivate your account. If this does not happen within this period, your account will be completely and permanently deleted. To reactivate your account, simply log in again.
