Fairy Tail: Movies
“Fairy Tail” was broadcast from 2009 to 2019 and includes three seasons and the spin-off “Fairy Tail Zero”. There are also two films.
- Phoenix Priestess: The film was released in Germany on October 20, 2018 on Anime on Demand with German dubbing. This meant that fans were able to see the movie six days before its official release on Blu-ray and DVD. In Japan, “Phoenix Priestess” was released on August 12, 2012. It was directed by Masaya Fujimori and the script was written by Masashi Sogo.
- Dragon Cry: “Dragon Cry” takes place after the 284th episode. However, episode 320 is directly connected to the movie. The Japanese premiere was on May 6, 2017, and the anime film was released in German for the first time on July 31, 2018. In Japan, as in Germany, the film was released before the third season.
