WhatsApp: Screen sharing – how to share your screen.

WhatsApp screen sharing is a new feature that you can use for yourself. However, you will only find the function in the beta version.

WhatsApp Screen Sharing: How it works

With WhatsApp you can share your screen with others. However, this currently works June 2023) only in the beta version. This function does not yet exist in the official app:

• Beware: If you share the screen with others via WhatsApp, they can also see your passwords, personal data and so on. The data is not protected in this case.
• Start a WhatsApp call via video. A new button will appear on the screen. Tap on it.
• You will then be asked if you want to share your screen. You will be advised that all sensitive data will be shared.
• If you confirm the message, the person you are talking to will see your smartphone screen. You can now present something to them.
• You can leave the screen sharing without cancelling your conversation. To do so, click on the corresponding button.
