Switch off Kaspersky – this is how it works

If Kaspersky blocks an application by mistake, you can switch off the virus protection. You can do this in just a few clicks. We will tell you how to do this.

Temporarily switch off Kaspersky Anti Virus: Instructions

With Kaspersky you can disable all security features for a certain time:

• Click on the Kaspersky icon in the menu bar or on the application icon in the application overview.
• Once you have opened the programme in the programme overview, go to “Settings” and go to the “Protection” tab. Disable or enable protection here.

• Select “Deactivate protection”. Depending on your computer system, a window will appear asking you to confirm the operation with your password. Follow the instructions on the screen.

• If the computer is switched off and restarted, the antivirus protection will not be activated. In order for it to be activated, you must switch it on manually.
• To do this, click on the Kaspersky icon and click on “Activate protection”. Follow the instructions on the screen.
