Sort playlist on Spotify: Desktop version
To set a specific order of songs, it’s a good idea to sort playlists on Spotify. This is quite simple:
- As soon as you open a playlist, you can sort by the following categories in the drop-down menu at the top right: Title, Artist Name, Album Name, Date the song was added and Duration. Spotify sorts the songs in these categories alphabetically.
- If you want to create a custom order, click this option in the drop-down menu.
- If you want to sort the songs individually, hold down the left mouse button over a song and move it to the desired position. Spotify automatically saves the changes.
