Kik Messenger: Delete account – this is how it works

If you want to delete your Kik Messenger account completely, this is unfortunately only possible in a roundabout way. We have tried it out ourselves and show how you have to proceed to do so.

Kik Messenger: Deactivate account

To delete the Kik account, you need to deactivate it for now. A deactivated Kik account can be reactivated at any time by logging in.

• Open the following web page of Kik and enter your mail address there.

• Click on the “Go” button, you will be sent a mail to deactivate your account.

• Open the mail and click on the “Deactivate” button there.

• Here you can specify any reason and deactivate your account.

Delete Kik Messenger account completely

• A deactivated account can be reactivated at any time. Your data will thus continue to be stored by Kik. Only a complete deletion really removes all data.

• To delete your Kik account completely, open the URL “ws.kik.com/delete” in your browser.

• Indicate your username, mail address and any reason for deletion.

• Check the box to confirm that your account will be deleted along with all data.

• Submit the form by clicking on “Go!”
