DALL-E mini may be “only” the little brother of DALL-E, but it is still a very exciting AI program. To avoid confusion, it is now called Craiyon.
DALL-E mini – What you should know
DALL-E mini, which has since been renamed Craiyon, was developed by OpenAI, just like DALL-E, DALL-E2 and ChatGPT. All of these programs are considered artificial intelligence and have been on everyone’s lips for quite some time due to their enormous development.
- The web tool Craiyon belongs to the image-generating artificial intelligence. This means that the program creates images for you. The tool is very easy to use and basically self-explanatory, so you can get started right away.
- Enter a term in the Craiyon text field and then be patient. When choosing the term(s) you provide to the AI, you should be as precise as possible. The more specific you are about what you want, the better the result Craiyon presents to you.
- Craiyon then creates nine images based on your input, which you are then allowed to use. If you would like to revise one or two details, you can easily do so using one of the common image editing programs.
Craiyon – You can get DALL-E Mini in these variants
You can use the Craiyon web tool for free. However, there are also paid variants, with the time factor being the deciding factor.
- While you have to wait one to two minutes for Craiyon to present you with a result in the “Forever Free” version, you only have to wait less than 45 seconds for the “Supporter” version and less than 20 seconds for the “Professional” version.
- In addition, the images from Supporter and Professional are not watermarked.
- As the name suggests, “Forever Free” is free of charge, “Supporter” costs five US dollars a month, and “Professional” can be used for 20 US dollars a month.
