Converting ACSM to EPUB – is that possible?

Converting ACSM to EPUB files is possible directly via Adobe Digital Editions. The software has the necessary function for this.

An ACSM file is not the eBook itself, but the access key to it. You use the ACSM to download the eBook in EPUB format using the Adobe Digital Editions reader.

• Download the software and install the program. After installation, you must authorize your PC using your Adobe ID.

• To do this, start the program and select the Authorize computer option in the Help tab at the top of the menu. Log in with your Adobe ID

• Confirm the entry with Authorize. The computer is now authorized and you can download the desired eBook as an EPUB.

• Now open the ACSM file via Adobe Digital Editions. This is possible by double-clicking on the file. Alternatively, simply drag the file into the software to start the download.

• Now the eBook will be downloaded automatically. You can then connect your reader or another device and transfer the book in EPUB format.

• Important: The copy protection of the eBook will not be removed during this process.
