How to change your Trello profile picture
Trello is a free online tool designed to simplify task management and project organisation. Each user is represented not only by their name, but also by their profile picture. In the meantime, user accounts are no longer valid only for Trello, but also for other services of the provider Atlassian – you therefore no longer change your profile picture on the Trello website, but in your Atlassian account:
- Visit the website https://id.atlassian.com and log in with the same credentials you use for Trello.
- Click on your current profile picture in the top right-hand corner and select Account Settings. Alternatively, go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility
- Click on the profile picture again. You can now either add a profile picture, change an existing profile picture or create an initial profile picture.
- If you would like to use a new profile photo, then click on Upload photo and select the desired picture on your hard drive. Adjust the picture section and click on Upload.
- Note: Trello supports the service Gravatar and will automatically display your profile picture stored there if you do not set your own for Trello/Atlassian.
Change profile picture of an old Trello account
If you still have an old Trello account that has not been linked to an Atlassian account, you cannot change your profile picture in the way described. Instead, you will need to follow these steps:
- Go to http://trello.com/me and log in with your credentials.
- Hover over the current profile picture and select Change.
- Select a new profile picture.
