You can sort tables by alphabet in Word without much effort

Word: Sort tables by alphabet

Sort table entries alphabetically in Word with just a few clicks.

  • Open your Word document on your computer and select the table.
  • Select the “Start” tab and click on the “A-Z” symbol.
  • Now select which column you would like to sort and whether you would like to sort the entries in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
  • The remaining columns are adjusted accordingly. So you don’t have to worry about table entries slipping out of place.
