Blinkist’s subscription system is as clear as the summaries of the specialist literature. Blinkist offers two subscription options for its audio books or text variants: a monthly and an annual subscription.

• If you decide on the annual subscription, the company will grant you a seven-day trial subscription in advance. But be careful: If you do not want the annual subscription, you must cancel it within these seven days. The trial subscription is followed seamlessly by an annual subscription. The Blinkist annual subscription costs around 6.67 euros per month. You will be charged 79.99 euros per year.

• The second option is a monthly subscription, which costs around 12.99 euros. The service is identical for both the annual and the monthly subscription. If you do not cancel the monthly membership, it is automatically extended by one month.

• If you use Blinkist regularly, the annual subscription is undoubtedly a good idea, as it is almost half the price of the monthly version. The annual subscription also renews automatically if you don’t cancel it.

• The Blinkist audiobook subscription is available to you until the end of the contracted time, no matter when you cancel.

• Tip: There is a third option to test the Blinkist service. The offer is called Blinkist Basic and is free of charge. For Blinkist Basic, you only have to register with the audio book provider and then have daily access to a given title.
