Astral travel can be learned with the help of instructions. With a little practice, you can open up access to other worlds and also influence them. Here you can read everything you need to know about astral travel
Astral travel – instructions for immersing yourself in unconscious worlds
During a guided astral journey, a part of the consciousness detaches from the body. Dimensions and spheres from other worlds are explored. Once the consciousness has left the body, it can look down on it from above. In this state, everything feels light and weightless. It is then possible for the subtle part to fly around and move through walls. This experience can be achieved during sleep or in a trance state. Meditation therefore proves to be effective for astral travel.
- Before you start, you should make sure that you are not disturbed by your cell phone, TV or other people. Then free yourself from everyday stress. The room should be darkened for this. Put yourself in a calm, relaxed state
- Get into a lying position, preferably on a sofa. Now close your eyes. Breathe in deeply through your nose into your stomach and out through your open mouth. Count to three as you inhale and to six as you exhale. Do this three times in a row
- Then consciously pay attention to your body. Observe your arms, legs, feet, stomach and back. Feel the surface you are lying on. Also try to concentrate on the area behind your eyelids. Consciously follow any images that occur
- Your body will feel heavier and heavier during meditation. At this point, it is important to consciously stay awake and not move. The body falls into a so-called sleep paralysis, which is necessary for astral travel.
- You may hear loud noises in this state. Your body will also tingle and vibrate. However, nothing can happen to you. Stay calm and wait until these acoustic and physical reactions stop
- Now imagine how your consciousness separates from your body. Do this by mentally pushing your body into the sofa and detaching your consciousness from it. Another strategy is to pull yourself up by a rope hanging from the ceiling.
- If the above methods are difficult to use, you can also try to move the room using your imagination. Bring it into a position from which your astral body can detach itself. It is also possible to be attracted to objects
Out-of-body experience – Things to know about astral travel
Astral travel has been known for a very long time. Even in ancient times, there were various reports of extrasensory experiences outside the body. They became popular again in 1971 with Robert A. Monroe. He described his out-of-body experiences in his book “Journeys Out Of The Body” and aroused great interest. Whether in sleep or during meditation, there are certain characteristics that can be used to recognize astral travel:
- It feels as if the consciousness is being pulled out of the body
- You may also get the impression that your consciousness is expanding further and further.
- The proportions of the body are perceived differently. For example, the hand suddenly appears much larger and in a different shape.
- The sense of the body is there on a higher level and no longer relates to matter.
- There is a change in perspective. The perception becomes a different one than in conscious reality.
- The feeling of being weightless is present. Your own movements are no longer restricted.
- There is no sensation of pain.
- The certainty that this kind of experience is not a dream is there.
