Using AirPods with Apple TV – here’s how

Pair AirPods with Apple TV

To hear sound from the Apple TV with your AirPods, you need to pair the two devices together. If you want to pair your AirPods with the Apple TV, make sure you have the latest tvOS version installed on the Apple TV. To find out the tvOS version of your model, select “General” in the settings and then “About”.

The AirPods will automatically set themselves up on any of your Apple devices that are signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID.

• Press the on-screen icon on your Siri Remote and select the “Settings”.

• From “Remote and Devices”, you can then go to the “Bluetooth” function.

• Now press and hold the configuration button on the case of your AirPods until the status bar flashes white.

• Under “Other Devices” on your Apple TV, you can now select your AirPods.
