Telegram: Saving incoming pictures

If you want to save incoming pictures via Telegram, only a few steps are necessary. If you don’t want to do it manually, you can also set up an automatic saving process. We will explain how this works in this article.

Save incoming pictures in Telegram

If you want to save incoming pictures to Telegram on iOS and Android, follow these steps:

• Open the Telegram app for Android or iOS on your smartphone.

• Tap on the picture you want to save.

• Tap the arrow, the share arrow on iOS or the three dots on the top right on Android.

Then tap on “Save picture” or on Android on “Save picture in gallery”. You will now find the picture in the gallery or in the photo app.

Save pictures on Telegram automatically

If you don’t want to save each picture individually, you can have Telegram save the pictures automatically.

• Open the Telegram app and go to the settings. You will find it under the three dots in the top right corner.
• Then go to “Messages ☻ Save to gallery”. All images received by Telegram will now be saved in your mobile device’s gallery.
