If your Apple AirPods are giving you trouble or you want to sell the headphones, you can reset them. This deletes all stored data from the Bluetooth headphones, such as the paired devices. You can find out how to do this in this Practicaltips.
Hard reset: How to reset Apple AirPods
Whether you just have a bad connection, the music is static or the battery of your AirPods is running out too quickly – a reset often helps wonders. Note, however, that this will cancel all pairings with your Apple headphones. You have to reconnect the AirPods to your iPhone after the reset. If you want to perform the reset, proceed as follows:
– First insert the AirPods into the charging case. If your headphones are completely discharged, wait a few minutes until the battery level has risen to about 10 per cent.
– Then press and hold the setup button in the centre of the back of the case for 15 seconds.
– Once the status indicator on the AirPod case flashes alternately yellow and white, you can release the button.
– Finally, remove the AirPods from the case and reconnect them to your iPhone.
