iPhones with Dual SIM have not been available for a long time. But for some time now, there have been iPhones that are equipped with Dual SIM as standard or don’t need a second SIM at all. In addition, you can also use other iPhones with two SIM cards with a trick.
iPhones with Dual SIM: iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
Since the iPhone 11, all iPhones released include the option of Dual SIM. All devices have Dual SIM as a combination of a physical nano-SIM and an eSIM. This means that it is permanently built into the device and does not have to be broken out of a plastic chip and inserted into the device like a normal SIM card.
- The eSIM must be supported by the mobile network provider and can only be used after updating the iPhone to iOS 12.1 (or newer).
- A great many discount providers, for example fraenk, also offer E-Sim.
