Install apps on Apple Watch: These options are available

To install apps on the Apple Watch, either use your iPhone or go directly to the Apple Store. You can also set up an automatic download

Install apps on the Apple Watch via iPhone

If you have not changed anything in the settings of your Apple Watch during setup, the apps on your iPhone will be installed automatically on your Apple Watch. If you only want to install certain apps, go to the settings. Please note that your Apple Watch must be paired with your iPhone.

• Go to “My Watch ☻ General” and deactivate the “Automatic app installation” function.

• Go to “My Watch ☻ Available apps”. Here you can see all apps.

• Click “Install” next to the apps you want to install on the Apple Watch.

Download apps via Apple Store: Instructions

You also have the option of downloading apps directly from the Apple Store to your Apple Watch.

• Open the “App Store” on your Apple Watch. To display the collections, turn the Digital Crown.

• To see more apps, go to “Collections”.

• If you want to install a free app, go to “Download”. To buy an app, tap on the price. If you see the cloud symbol, you have purchased the app in the past and can download it now.
