This is how you transfer your Samsung backup to your iPhone
If you want to transfer your Samsung smartphone data to your new iPhone, you can use Apple’s “Transfer to iOS” app.
- First, make sure you have Wi-Fi enabled on your Samsung device and connect both smartphones to the charging cable as a precaution.

Re-set up your iPhone and tap “Transfer data from Android” on the “Apps & data” screen. A numeric code should now appear.
- Download the app “Transfer to iOS” from the Google Play Store to your Samsung smartphone and open it.
- Accept the terms of use in the app and enter the one-time code that is displayed on your iPhone
- Then you can select all the content you want to transfer. Tap “Next” and let both smartphones work. This process may take some time.
- When the progress bar on the iPhone is complete, tap “Done” on the other smartphone and follow the instructions below on the iPhone.
- The backup should now be transferred and you can download any missing apps from the App Store.
