If Freeform is not synchronizing, there is probably a problem with the network. However, other causes cannot be ruled out
Freeform does not synchronize: Possible solutions
Freeform can no longer synchronize correctly due to a variety of causes.
- The most common cause is a problem with your internet connection. Check your network, reset your router if necessary or connect to a different one.
- Simply restart your Apple device. It is possible that Freeform has hung up and is not synchronizing for this reason.
- There may currently be a problem with the iCloud. Check the system status from Apple to be on the safe side. In this case, you just have to wait a little until the servers are working properly again
- Log out of the iCloud or your Apple ID to restart Freeform. This will reestablish the connection, which can activate synchronization
- If you do not have enough memory in your iCloud, Freeform will not be able to synchronize. Make room for the additional data to solve the problem.
- Synchronization problems may occur with Freeform if you are using a VPN connection. Deactivate this to check whether the problem still exists afterwards.
Freeform does not synchronize: Activate function
It is also possible that the synchronization function in Freeform is not active.
- To do this, go to the system settings of your Apple device. Then click on your user name.
- Select iCloud in the next menu. Swipe down to check whether the function is activated.
- If not, switch the switch to On. Freeform should then synchronize on your device.
