A dead Apple Watch is of little use, so always keep an eye on the battery level. We have the best tips for charging the Apple Watch for you.
How to charge your Apple Watch the right way
In principle, charging the Apple Watch is not witchcraft. Nevertheless, there are a few things to keep in mind so that you don’t suddenly find yourself without power.
- You can check the battery status of the Apple Watch at any time by swiping upwards. This will launch “Checks.” Now swipe to the side and the battery level will be displayed.
- If the battery is almost empty, a red flash appears. It is high time to connect the Apple Watch to the charging station.
- Activating the power reserve can give you a few extra hours of battery life if you ever can’t make it to a power outlet in time.
- You can connect the charging station to a wall socket or to other devices via USB. Make sure that USB devices must also be switched on in order to supply power.
- To charge, place the back of the Applewatch on the charger and it will automatically align properly.
- You should now see a green flash as a charging symbol on the display. If this is not the case, check the contact surfaces. Make sure that there is usually a protective film stuck to the charging surface on delivery, this will hinder the charging process.
