Compatibility of the 1st generation Apple Pencil

The Apple Pencil is much more than just an ordinary tablet stylus: thanks to its thin tip, movements on the touchscreen are much more precise than with a finger. In addition, the pen recognizes the angle of inclination and the amount of pressure and adjusts its functions accordingly. You can connect the 1st generation Apple Pencil to the following devices:

  • iPad mini of the 5th generation
  • iPad of the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th generation
  • iPad Air of the 3rd generation
  • iPad Pro with 12.9 inch of the 1st and 2nd generation
  • iPad Pro with 9.7 and 10.5 inch
