“Where can I find my Google reviews” is an important question if you like to rate locations or shops online or are a business owner yourself.
Where to find my Google reviews: Simple instructions
If you are looking for reviews on Google that you have written yourself or that someone else has written about your business, you can find them via your browser or mobile device:
- Browser: Open the Google Maps website. Click on the three lines in the top left corner. Your reviews will be displayed under “My posts ☻ Reviews.”
- Mobile devices: You can access reviews via the Google Maps app on your mobile device. Tap on your profile in the top right corner of the app. You can view your reviews under “My posts ☻ Reviews.”
- Find reviews for your own business: Go to Google Maps on your computer or mobile device. Enter the name of your business or the business you are interested in. The reviews will be listed under the name or description. You can also find business reviews via Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) in the “Reviews” section.
- To respond to reviews about your business, click on your business profile and look for “Google Business Profile ☻ Reviews ☻ Write a response” in the list.
Why you can’t see your Google reviews: the reasons
There are several reasons why you may not be able to see your Google reviews. Make sure you are signed in to the Google account you used to write the reviews. If you are signed in to a different account, your reviews may not be visible.
- Privacy settings: You may have configured your privacy settings so that your reviews are not publicly visible. Go to your Google account settings and check the privacy settings for your reviews.
- Google review guidelines: If your review violates Google’s guidelines, for example, if it contains spam or inappropriate content, it may have been removed. If a review is not displayed, it may also be because Google uses algorithms to filter out fake reviews. These algorithms are not always error-free.
- Publication: Sometimes it takes a while (24 to 48 hours) for a new review to be published on Google and therefore visible. Your review may still be in the review phase and therefore not yet visible.
- Technical issues: Technical issues on Google’s site may also prevent certain reviews from being displayed. In this case, please try again at a later time. Location-based restrictions may also apply.
