TikTok does not yet have an auto-scroll function. With the function, the next video could be played automatically in the app without you having to swipe your finger from the bottom to the top. However, Android users can help themselves with an app.
TikTok auto-scroll function: Not available yet
Videos on TikTok are played in an endless loop. Many users would like to have an auto-scroll function that automatically jumps to the next video after the end of a video.
- But so far you cannot activate such a function in the app. As an Android user, you can help yourself with an app like “Auto Next TikTool”.
- With this app, it is possible to automatically swipe from the bottom to the top after a fixed time interval and thus go to the next video.
- It is a pity that the app does not take the length of a video into account. It can happen that the app jumps to the next clip in the middle of the video if the set time interval is less than the length of the video.
- If you don’t mind, you can use the app without any problems. To do this, you must first give the app the necessary permissions. The easiest way to do this is to open the app and grant the necessary permissions by tapping on the cogwheel icons.
- You can use the bar to set the interval at which the app should scroll down. This is specified in seconds. To finally use the app, click on “Let’s Start!”
- After you have opened TikTok, select the “Start” button to start the automatic scrolling. You can also stop it in the same way.
- For iPhone users, the diversions via a third-party app is unfortunately not possible. This is because Apple prohibits such apps in the App Store for security reasons.
- However, the developers of TikTok have announced that they are working on an auto-scroll function. Sooner or later, this feature will be available to all users – even without a diversion via a third-party app. But it will probably be a while before this option is finally available to all smartphone users.
