The perfectly cooked and peeled egg is almost a science in itself, we show you a trick with which you can easily peel eggs in seconds and, by the way, enchant the invited Easter party.
Before the peeling comes the cooking
Before you can peel the egg, you first have to boil it. Ideally, you should do this as follows:
- If you cook your egg without an egg boiler, just use a small saucepan.
- Boil up some water. There should be enough so that the egg is well covered.
- Now boil the egg in the slightly bubbling water. After about minutes the egg will be soft, after 7 minutes it will be firm. Depending on the thickness of the egg, these figures may vary slightly.
The trick to peel the ice
Now that you have boiled your egg, we will show you the trick to peel your egg in just a few seconds.
- Fill a water glass halfway with cold water and put the egg in it
- Cover the glass with the palm of your hand and shake the glass for about 10 seconds.
- You can then remove the egg from the jar and easily remove the shell in one piece.
