“Pay with Amazon” is a service that you can use if you are an Amazon customer. If you see the “Pay with Amazon” button on Amazon or in another online store, you can use it. With one click, you can pay with the payment method stored in your Amazon account.

• Click on the “Pay with Amazon” or “Pay via Amazon” button in the respective online store.

• You will now be redirected to Amazon. The purchase process is the same as for a normal purchase on Amazon.de.

• Amazon debits the money from your bank account or credit card and sends it to the online store. The store owner does not receive any of your bank or other payment information.

• Unfortunately, you cannot use an Amazon gift card or balance to pay with “Pay with Amazon”.

• After your first purchase, you can also manage the payment method for future orders via “Pay with Amazon” in your Amazon account.

What you should know about Amazon Pay

If you already have an Amazon account, you can use Amazon Pay anywhere you see the Amazon Pay button. You don’t need to register again. This means you don’t have to set up a new account or remember an old password. When you pay with Amazon Pay, the information and payment methods stored in your Amazon account are simply used.

• Amazon Pay is an online payment option that is quick and secure . Plus, your purchases are protected by the Amazon Pay A-to-z Guarantee. This is a safeguard for third-party orders placed through Amazon and the use of the Amazon Pay payment method on third-party websites.

• Your Amazon Pay transactions can be found on pay.amazon.de, where you log in as a buyer with your Amazon user name and password. One-time purchases can be found under the “Activity” tab, and subscription contracts under “Merchant Agreements”.

• The transactions also appear on the website under “Amazon orders” in the Amazon Pay tab. Or go to “My Account” and select “Transactions.” In the Amazon app, go to “My Orders” or “My Account” to view the transactions made.

• You will not incur any additional costs, such as membership or transaction fees or other charges, for using Amazon Pay. Your card issuer may only charge a fee for foreign transactions.

• An overview of which merchants participate in the Amazon Pay process can be found on the website under “For Buyers”. If the Amazon Pay button is not offered as a payment option in a selected online store, you can send an email to Amazon’s customer service.
