Netflix: Create a youth-free profile – this is how it works

To set up a safe Netflix profile for children, you can make it adult-free. This way, they will no longer be shown content that would not be appropriate for their age.

How to set up a parental control profile on Netflix

If you want to block certain adult content on your children’s profile, you can do so through the settings in the app.

• Open the Netflix app on your TV, laptop or computer. If you want to change the settings from your smartphone, you must log in to Netflix’s website to do so.

• Go to the profile selection with the heading “Who is watching?” and click “Manage” at the top right. Then select the profile you want to change or create a new one.

• Below the profile name you will now see a kind of button with “Child?” next to it. Click on this. Save the setting at the top right. If you have created a new profile, you must click on the box with the same inscription.
