Changing Firefox wallpaper: Download and install themes as add-ons
In Firefox, you can change your background by choosing from various themes, which you can then download and activate as add-ons.
- To change your Firefox background, go to the application menu (symbolized by three horizontal lines). You will find the application menu in the upper right corner of the browser’s toolbar.
- Select the menu item [Add-ons and Themes] and then click on [Themes] in the menu on the left side of the screen.
- You can choose from pre-installed designs such as “Light” and “Dark” and activate them with a single click.
- You can use the search bar [Find more add-ons] at the top of the screen to search for more themes.
Change the color of the menu bar: color in tabs and more
If you not only want to change the background color of Firefox, but also to recolor the menu bar, there are also suitable add-ons such as ColorfulTabs available.
- Go back to [Add-ons and Themes] and enter [ColorfulTabs] in the search bar at the top.
- Download the add-on and you’re ready to go. The add-on allows you to give each tab a different color. The menu bar is then colored according to the tab that is currently active.
