If you want to turn your back on the time waster and data protection octopus Facebook, you can do so in various ways. You can deactivate your account if you are still unsure and want to reactivate it at a later date. However, you can also delete your Facebook account permanently.
- Go to your profile picture in the top right-hand corner of your profile and select “Settings and privacy”.
- Click on “Settings” ☻ “More in the account overview” (top left) ☻ “Account settings” ☻ “Personal information” ☻ “Account ownership and settings” ☻ “Deactivate or delete”.
- Now you can choose whether you want to deactivate or delete your account. If you have several profiles, select the profile you want to delete or deactivate and click on “Next”.
- Now you only need to follow the instructions displayed, depending on what you have selected.
