iCloud: Import calendars – here’s how

by Pramith

If you want to import a calendar or a file from another calendar into iCloud, there is actually not much to do. We’ll explain how it works.

iCloud: Import calendar not necessary

If you use iCloud, you do not need to explicitly import a calendar.

  • Provided you have shared your calendars with the iCloud, the entries synchronise automatically
  • As already mentioned, the prerequisite for this is the release of the calendar for iCloud. On your iOS device, you will find the option in the settings. Tap on your name and then on “iCloud”.
  • Activate the slider behind “Calendar”.
  • Now log into iCloud with your Apple ID, you will see all calendars of your iDivices.
  • Changes are automatically synchronised so that the calendar in iCloud is always up to date.
