Despite Office 365’s cloud focus, you can use Word, Excel and PowerPoint without an internet connection.

• However, you need the internet to download the installer. If the licence has been activated, you can also use the programmes offline.
• However, certain functions are not available. These include, for example, the ability to translate documents. You also cannot use the cloud functions of OneDrive offline.
• Important: You must sign in online at least once every 30 days. If this does not happen, Microsoft 365 will be deactivated. Before this happens, the programme will send you a reminder.
• If you have changed data in OneDrive while offline, it will be automatically synchronised once you are online.
