Amazon Music on your iPhone allows you to stream music, podcasts and more, or listen to them offline. All you need to do is install the app.
Install and set up the Amazon Music app on your iPhone
If you want to have your favorite songs with you at all times or listen to music even without an internet connection, the Amazon Music app is for you. Install and set it up as follows:
- Download the app to your iPhone and install it as usual. Then open the application.
- After successful installation, click on the app to open it. Now you have to log in with either an existing or a new Amazon account. You can create an Amazon account directly via the app.
- Confirm your email address. After a short synchronization with the server, all your music will also be available on your iPhone.
- Note: The Amazon Music app is only compatible with iPhone models that use iOS 15 or higher.
Amazon Music: Using the streaming service on your iPhone
Not only is Alexa voice control already integrated into the Amazon Music app. There are a variety of other features:
- You have the option to view recommendations under Explore, choose a radio station or listen to current Amazon playlists. The offer is different depending on whether you have a free account, Amazon Music Prime or Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
- My Music contains all the content you have purchased directly from Amazon. This includes all MP3 or AutoRip files that are automatically stored in the Amazon cloud after purchase.
- In Recent, you will find the music that you have either recently added to My Music or that you have recently listened to. This also includes podcasts and radio stations.
- You can use the menu to create playlists as you like. You can name them as you wish and simply add the songs. It is also possible to publish the playlists for others.
- Note: You can download albums or songs in the app and listen to them offline at any time if you have an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
