We explain how to print an Amazon returns slip step by step in this practical tip. You can also find out what to do if you don’t have a printer at home.
Print an Amazon returns slip in just a few steps
If you’ve ordered something from Amazon that you want to return – for whatever reason – you’ll need a returns slip to do so.
- In the menu, enter the reason why you want to return the item.
- In the next step, select how you want the return to be processed. Select a refund or replacement here.
- If you purchased the item from an Amazon seller, you will need to click “Submit a Return Request”. The seller will then check whether all the requirements for a return have been met. You will usually receive a response from the seller within two working days.
- If the request for return has been confirmed, all you have to do is choose the return method – drop off at a shop, ship, etc. If you have chosen shipping, you will be shown a return slip that you can download and print out.
- If you don’t have a printer at home, you can print out the label somewhere else, for example at work or at a friend’s house. You will also receive the return slip by e-mail.
- By the way: For some returns, a label is no longer necessary. The return shipment is handled here via a QR code. To do this, simply show the QR code at a DHL, Hermes or Post shop.
