Objection to TikTok is possible directly via your account. You can use this option, for example, if your account has been blocked
Tiktok: Submit an objection to account blocking
If your TikTok account has been blocked, you can appeal against this decision.
- To do this, open the TikTok app on your device. Then open the banner notification that informed you about the account blocking
- Within the notification, click on the Objection button. This will take you to the objection process.
- Depending on the reason for blocking, you will now receive instructions on how to object. For example, if you wish to file an objection against not reaching the minimum age, you will need documents such as your ID card.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the objection. TikTok support will then take care of the further processing of the problem.
Objection for removed TikTok videos
If you want to file an objection with TikTok due to a deleted video, proceed a little differently.
- You will receive information about deleted videos primarily via your TikTok inbox. Open the notification in your inbox
- Within the notification, click on the Submit objection button. Also follow the on-screen instructions here to submit the objection.
- Alternatively, you can call up the blocked video directly. There you will find the option Violation of the Community Guidelines: Show details. Select this option
- Then click on Submit objection again to complete the process. Support will then take care of your objection.
