Removing a parked car from Google Maps: How to do it
In the Android version, proceed as follows to delete a parked car from Google Maps:
- Start the Google Maps app on your smartphone. Go to the search bar at the top. The term “parking lot” will appear below it
- After you have selected this, you will find the “More info” option at the bottom of the screen. Click on “Delete” to remove your parked car from Google Maps

In the iOS version of your iPhone, proceed as follows to remove the car from Google Maps:
- Open Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad:
- Here you will see the banner “Saved parking space” directly at the bottom of the display. Click “Delete” to remove the location from Maps
