GMX Login: My mailbox

GMX is one of the largest German providers of e-mail services, and problems with the login can occur. If you have problems, we will tell you what to do.

Login to GMX: Logging into the GMX mailbox

On the GMX homepage, you can log in directly to your account using the input fields.

• If this does not work, you can alternatively use the login page.

• Now enter your email address in the first field and the password you chose when you registered in the second field.

• After that, confirm your entry with the Login button or with Enter. Continue reading below in case you have forgotten your password.

• If you have entered your data correctly, you will be redirected to your personal e-mail page. Here you will find the option “E-mail” in the tabs on the left and at the top of the page respectively. Click on this to access your latest messages.

• You can also choose between the folders for unread or suspected spam mails.

GMX password forgotten: What you can do

If you can’t remember your password, that’s no problem:

• If you can’t log in because you can’t remember your password, click on the “Forgotten your password?” link below the input field.

• You will be redirected to a page where you can reset your password. Enter your e-mail address or your customer number in the first field. You have only been given a customer number if you have a Promail or TopMail account.

• In the next field, enter the sequence of letters and numbers shown in the picture above. This will prove that you are not an automatic programme.

• Once you have clicked on “Next”, you will be taken to the next page. Here you can determine whether the code with which you unlock your account again is sent to another e-mail address or to you by SMS. You must have entered the address and telephone number for this in the GMX system beforehand when you registered.
