by Pramith

Redirection errors in Firefox are usually caused by a problem with the cookies. You can solve the problem via the browser’s cookie management

Prevent redirection errors in Firefox: Manage cookies

If website cookies are blocked, a Firefox redirection error may occur. The following instructions will help you to solve the problem:

  • Start Firefox and click with your mouse on the button for the application menu in the top right-hand corner. This is the icon with the three horizontal lines
  • Select the settings here and then switch to the Privacy & security tab. Then scroll down to the Cookies and website data section
  • Click on the Manage exceptions button. You will now see all the pages whose cookies are blocked. Search for the page with the redirection errors.
  • Select it and click on Remove website. This will delete all cookie blocking. Now enter the page with the redirection error in the Website address: field, but do not press [Enter] yet.
  • Press Allow instead. This will not block the cookies and the redirection error will not occur.
  • Save changes to apply them. Then restart Firefox if the redirection error no longer occurs.
  • Tip: If the problem is still not solved, delete the Firefox cache and cookies. Updating the browser can also help
