On Facebook, you can change your profile picture without posting this info. In this case, the other users of the social network will not be notified that you have changed your photo. However, this only works with private accounts.

How to change your Facebook profile photo without posting it

If you don’t want other people on Facebook to know that you have changed your profile picture, this can only be done on private accounts. If your profile is public, it will always be posted that you have changed your profile picture.

  • Log in to your Facebook account. Go to the profile.
  • Now go to your profile picture. Go to “Update profile picture ☻ Upload photo”.
  • Select a new profile picture and confirm with “Save”.
  • Then go to your profile and scroll to the photo you have posted.
  • Tap on “Friends” under the photo and select “Only me”. Only you will see that you have posted a new picture. Other users will not see the post.
