Delete Facebook status message – to tidy up your wall

Have you posted something on Facebook that shouldn’t end up on the social network? Fortunately, status messages can be quickly deleted. This is how you go about removing a post from your wall:

• Log in to Facebook and go to your profile page. To do this, click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

• Now scroll to the status message you want to remove. In the upper right corner of the entry, you will find three dots. Click on them.

• Now select the option “Delete post” and the status message will no longer appear on Facebook.

Delete Facebook stories

Similar to Instagram, you can also upload stories to Facebook. If you want to delete them, here’s how:

• Open Facebook on your phone or on your browser and go to “Your Story” in the news section.

• Press on your post, then on the three dots next to it and select “Delete photo” or “Delete video”.
