DPD returns: This is how returns work with DPD - Practical Tips

DPD returns: This is how returns work with DPD

by Johannes

If you want to send back a return with DPD, it’s very simple. We explain the process to you.

DPD returns: How it works

Returns cannot be avoided. If you receive a parcel and are dissatisfied with the shipment, you can easily return it with DPD.

  • App: If you have the DPD app, you can request a return in it. If the shipper has activated your delivery for a return, you can see this in the delivery details. There you will find the “Returns” button. Click on it and you will receive the shipping label. All you have to do is print it out, attach it to the parcel and take it to the nearest parcel shop.
  • Email: You may also need to contact the retailer. If you tell them the reason for the return, they will send you a return slip. You will also need to print this out and attach it to the parcel before taking it to the nearest parcel shop. Some online shops also have an integrated returns button. You can then use this button to get the shipping label.
  • Tips: If you use the old box for the return, make sure that the old labels are no longer visible. If you can’t get them removed, make them unrecognisable with a sharpie. If you don’t know where the nearest parcel shop is, you can find it on DPD’s website.
