If you have any questions for DHL, the customer service telephone hotline is there for you. But there are other ways. We’ll tell you how to reach the company
DHL: Customer hotline for DHL standard parcels
If your parcel was sent “normally” rather than as an express delivery and you have questions about the status of your shipment, for example, you can reach DHL’s customer service quickly and easily by phone. A voice computer will then guide you through the next steps.
- You can reach customer service by calling 0228 4 333 112.
- The hotline is available from Monday to Sunday between 07:00 and 20:00. This also applies on public holidays.
- A call costs 20 cents per minute from the German fixed network. If you call from the German mobile network, the maximum cost is 60 cents per minute.
- When calling, please have your consignment number and postal number ready if necessary. If you are not a registered customer, you may need to provide your full address.
Hotline for DHL Express Shipping National and International
If your parcel is on its way with Express Versand, the hotline depends on whether it is a national or international shipment.
- The telephone number for international express shipping is + 49 (0)180 6 345 300-3.
- The telephone number for national express delivery is + 49 (0)180 6 345 300-1.
- Both hotlines are available from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays from 07:00 to 16:00. The hotlines are not staffed on national holidays.
- One call costs you 20 cents from the German fixed network and a maximum of 60 cents per call from the German mobile networks.
Hotline for DHL Customer Service eSolutions
For the eSolutions area, DHL has switched on yet another telephone number for technical support:
- The hotline can be reached at 0180 6 003 321.
- You can call Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. This does not include public holidays.
- The costs do not differ from those of the other hotlines. So there is a charge of 20 cents for a call from a landline and a maximum of 60 cents for a mobile call.
DHL customer service: Further contact options
DHL employees are also available through other channels.
- You can reach DHL customer service via Twitter. Please note that you should not send personal data via Twitter.
- It is also possible to contact us via WhatsApp. Simply send your enquiry to the number 0228/76363719. However, the chatbot Marie and not a real human being will “take care” of your request here. Complicated issues will most likely not be resolved in this way. DHL does not yet support other messengers.
- The company does not offer a mail address where you can contact DHL directly
