You can delete your Google search history in just a few steps. The exact procedure differs slightly between PC and smartphone.
Delete Google history in your browser: How it works on PC
When you use Google Search, your searches are automatically saved to your Google Account. If you want to delete your history, you can do so on your PC as follows:
- First, go to your Google web activity. Here you will find all the information that Google stores about your activities. If you have not already done so, log in here with your access data.
- Now all your searches or other activities, such as your browser history in Google Chrome, are listed. In the bar on the left, you can also switch to the individual view in addition to the group view.
- To delete an entry, click on the “X” to the right of it and confirm by clicking “Delete”.
- Alternatively, you can also delete all activities from a specific date. To do this, click on the “Delete” button in the top right corner.
- Now you can, for example, delete the entire history of the last hour. However, you can also set a custom time period or delete the complete history using the “Total Time” button.
