Sometimes there are good reasons to erase your digital footprints. If you don’t want other users on your PC to see your browsing history or your Internet downloads, you can delete them in Firefox in just a few steps.
- Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines in the menu.
- Then go to “History” and “Clear recent history”.
- You can now decide how far you want to delete the browsing history, for example only for the last hour, the last two or four hours, the whole day. You can also delete the entire history
- Select which data should be removed. If you check the box everywhere, all visited pages, search terms, cookies, logins, website settings and caches will be deleted.
- Click on “delete” to confirm the process.
