With Adblock you are permanently spared from advertising on websites. If you want to deactivate the small add-on, you can do so in the settings of your browser. We have summarised here exactly how this works for the most common browsers.
How do I deactivate Adblock in Google Chrome? This is how it works
If you only want to temporarily disable the Adblocker in Google Chrome, follow these steps:
– Open Chrome and click on the Adblock icon at the top right of the URL bar.
– With a click on the slider, deactivate the add-on.
– If you want to deactivate the add-on for a longer period of time, so that the symbol in the bar also disappears, you can do this in the browser’s add-on settings. To do this, click on the menu button with the three dots in the upper corner.
Under “More tools”, select the menu item “Extensions”.
– Flip the lever on “Adblock Plus”.
– The add-on is then deactivated on all pages.
Turn off adblock in Firefox
You can also conveniently switch off Adblock in Firefox with two clicks.
– To do this, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and deactivate the extension using the slider.
You can also deactivate the extension in the settings. To do so, click on the three dashes in the top right-hand corner.

Safari: How to disable your Adblock
You can also deactivate Adblock in your Safari browser. The process here is similar to the other applications.
– First select the corresponding button next to the address bar and then click on “Open Adblock Plus” to access the app’s settings.
– You can then deactivate the add-on via the “General” tab.
– Alternatively, you can turn Adblock off for the current site by checking the box at “Enabled on this site.” for the current page.

Disable adblock on a specific page
If you want to disable the Adblock add-on only on specific pages, you can also do that with a few clicks.
– Google Chrome: Click on the red Adblock Plus stop sign at the top right of a web page. In the pop-up window, now click on the slider next to the item “This page”.
– Mozilla Firefox: The procedure in Firefox is the same as in Chrome. Click on the icon next to the URL bar and turn off the slider next to “This page “

– Safari: First go to the settings of the add-on as described above and then navigate to the menu called “Whitelist”. There you can now enter the websites on which you want to deactivate Adblock and add them to the list with “Add Website”.
– Note that with an adblocker you are always taking away an important source of revenue from websites. Some companies set up advertising so that the content remains free, but they can still make money. Therefore, think carefully about whether you want to allow advertising on a page or not.
