The British Airways online check-in is very practical, but can also be a little confusing. To make sure you check in quickly and get a good seat, we’ll help you check in.
Stress-free online check-in with British Airways
From 24 hours before departure, you can check in online with British Airways. You can do this either via the British Airways app or on the website.
- First open the British Airways website and click on “Manage”.
- In the following window, enter your booking number and last name.
- Then click on “Online Check-In”. Follow the instructions and enter the number of pieces of luggage you have and how heavy they are. The seat selection is also waiting for you here.
- Alternatively, download the free British Airways app to your smartphone and check in online directly from there.
How to get your boarding pass from British Airways
Once you have entered everything, you can download your boarding pass. You have several options here:
-
- You can either pull the boarding pass onto your smartphone and show it at the counter, or you can print it out.
-
- We recommend you do both. That way, you’re on the safe side in case your phone battery dies or your ticket no longer displays.
-
- If there is a problem with your downloaded boarding pass, you can swipe a new one at the counter in the airport.
