Amazon Prime: Switch off subtitles – this is how it works

You can switch off subtitles on Amazon Prime if you don’t need the texts. We will explain how to do this in this practical tip.

Amazon Prime: How to turn off the subtitles

• Recall a foreign language movie or series. You can read how to watch films or series in English in another practical tip.

• As soon as the film or series loads, click on the speech bubble in the top right-hand window. A distinction is made there between subtitles and audio. If you are using the “Amazon Fire TV”, press the “Menu” button on the remote control and select “Switch off subtitles”.

• In the “Subtitles” entry, select “Off”.

• Now you have switched off the subtitles and can enjoy the film in the original sound without subtitles.
