Dishwasher: Refilling the salt – this is how to do it.

You should refill the salt in your dishwasher at regular intervals. We will show you how to do this in these instructions.

Refill salt in the dishwasher

First you need special salt that is suitable for dishwashers and a funnel that fits into the attachment of your dishwasher. Then proceed according to the following steps.

• Open your dishwasher and pull out the bottom drawer. Remove it to get better access to the lock.
• On the bottom of your dishwasher you will find a screw cap with the word “salt” written on it. Turn it counterclockwise to unscrew it.
• Now carefully pour the salt into the opening. Stop when the salt starts to accumulate in the funnel. Then the salt is almost completely filled up. Be careful to pour as little salt as possible next to it.
• When everything is ready, turn the lock back on the opening, put the bottom drawer in place and close the dishwasher.
