If your Bauknecht washing machine reports error F01, then it has a problem with the water inlet. In this article you will find out what you can do about it.
Bauknecht washing machine error F01 – How to fix the problem
The F01 error on your Bauknecht washing machine indicates that there is a water intake error. This means that the water is not being pumped out fast enough when your machine is in the spin cycle.
- First check that the lint filter is working properly. Refer to your washing machine manual to find out where it is located. Open the filter and let the water flow out. Now look to see if anything is obstructing the lint filter. It is not uncommon to find lost socks here.
- Look at the drain hose. It may be bent, blocking the water drainage. Hang the hose in a bucket and set your washing machine to a programme with water drainage. A large gush of water should now come out of the drain hose.
- The amount of laundry can also be a problem. You may have too little laundry in your machine, which prevents the machine from rebalancing and the machine from spinning. If the fault does not lie there either, then it may be due to worn motor carbons.
- If the motor brushes are worn out, it is advisable to replace them. Order new motor brushes online that fit your washing machine. Once delivered, insert them as per the manual supplied. This should now finally resolve the F01 error code.
