You will find the warranty for your Samsung device in the warranty booklet that comes with every new device. However, the warranty conditions are also available online.
You can find the Samsung warranty online here
If a Samsung electronic device breaks during the warranty period due to a material or software defect, it is annoying, but you will not suffer any financial loss as a result of the manufacturer’s warranty.
- You can access the warranty conditions via the Samsung support page. You can then send your request directly to the manufacturer using a contact form. Furthermore, chat, telephone or social media contact options are offered.
- First check the warranty conditions and select the relevant product group in the warranty overview. This will take you to a submenu where you will find the terms and conditions for your Samsung electrical appliance.
- By clicking on “Show more”, you can find out everything about the warranty conditions and, provided that the damage is covered by the provisions, you can contact the manufacturer and make your claim.
This is how long the warranty for electrical appliances lasts
Like all other vendors, electrical appliance manufacturers are legally obliged to supply or hand over defect-free goods to their customers.
- If the goods are not free of defects, this justifies a claim by the buyer for warranty. However, this claim can of course only arise if the customer is not the cause of the defect.
- The statutory warranty period is 24 months. This period cannot be shortened without authorization, but of course it can be extended. You can often get warranty extensions by paying a premium.
- If a defect occurs shortly after purchase, you as the buyer are not required to provide evidence. The law assumes that the defect already existed at the time of purchase. However, after 12 months at the latest, you will have to prove that the defect is due to a material defect or similar.
