If you don’t know how long the warranty on your Samsung device is, you can check it online. We’ll show you how to do it.
Samsung: Check warranty status manually
- Samsung usually grants a warranty of 1 or 2 years. Sometimes, however, the warranty is only 3 or up to 12 months. You can find out which products are covered by which guarantee and what you need to bear in mind in Samsung’s guarantee conditions.
- The period always starts from the date of purchase from the authorised dealer. The date of purchase can be found on the receipt or invoice.
- If you do not have the receipt at hand, you can find out the warranty status from Samsung using the serial number. We will show you how to do this in the next paragraph.
Samsung: Check warranty status online
- Open Samsung’s service portal and click on “Register now” under the “Sign in” button on the left.
- Enter your contact details and open the confirmation link you will receive by email.
- Once you have confirmed your account, you will be asked to log in. You will now be redirected to the service portal again.
- Click on the “Product registration” option at the top right above your profile and enter all the required data for the product.
- By clicking on the button “Register”, the product will be saved in your name. You can then select it and thus check the warranty status.
